Lanois that is. Live at the Hudson River Fest concert series, it was at stuy HS due to weather, but it was phenomenal... They played a glorious show and Adam Samuels did a fantastic job mixing the show. Brian Blade on drums, look out! They're coming through town again Oct. 6th with Tortoise. Should be an awesome show! Went to festivus today and watched some people totally freakin out...beautiful sunny day, spinnin house music... people all cracked out in the sun.. guess thats why it's for the rest of us.

A legend relaunched...

Walt "Clyde" Frazier was on hand to sign the relaunch of limited edition PUMA clydes at my favorite shoe spot in NYC, Alife Rivington Club he was there signing people's Clydes. The store only had 32 pairs, I believe there were only 150 available in NYC and 1000 overall nationwide. I got a pair for my pops for his upcoming birthday, he's a new yorker and a frazier fan and I'm a sneaker freak so I'm stoked to keep this in the family... Check it!

Tyler Bush, one of the least known but most talented artist in nyc, he's been hard at work bring my musical audio visions and ideas to fruition on custom painted skate decks... should have some designs up soon, he's completing the first full design this weekend...

finally finished after years...

Finished mixing my compadre EZEKIEL ZAGAR's record...features the reggae legends, Horsemouth, Larry Macdonald, Ze Louis and others... Been mixing and remixing and tweaks for a couple years and I believe tonight we put the finishing touches on at Pilot Recording Studios
It's on to Mastering with Will Schillinger. Look for the record soon and remember...

mongolian bbq!

Today I went with my girlfriend to the PUMA store in Soho for our appointment to design our very own pumas during their Mongolian Shoe Barbecue. You pick out the parts and get the shoes 6 weeks later... attached is the design I did, if I see any dupes out there I'm kicking dirt on your copies! There's only 180 pairs per location. I believe it's coming to the midwest and west coast in august and september... sign up early because the waiting list in NYC was a mile long.
